We are always happy to refer you to genuine UK breeders, in your area. There are only a handful of genuine breeders in the UK that bought breeding stock from Cumbria (Founder).  Many are selling micro pigs that have just been bought and put together thinking this will result in small pigs, it will not, the potential is there to have throw backs resulting in a very large pig, that sadly most would not be able to keep due to their size.

We have some of the smallest pigs in the world and true world class micro pigs.  Do not be mis-lead there are no 10-12 inch pigs fully grown in the UK.

We consult with our own vet regularly to ensure the best care of our pigs.  Our pigs are thriving, happy and very clean.

You are buying from people that put health and welfare of their animals as an absolute top priority, we have veterinary proof to back this up!

Our pigs are absolutely not breed runt to runt, (this is a myth created by people who do not have any knowledge of our pigs or their genetic history/provenance).  They just would not survive all the generations of breeding.  Nor would they continuously produce healthy piglets.

We spend many thousands on good husbandry and keeping our pigs clean, healthy and happy.

Our breeding stock came from the "founder of these "Micro Pigs" in the UK, their website is under construction but we will be adding a link to it as soon as it is up and running. Their pig husbandry and care is fantastic and is used in lectures by a world class vet see more about this world leading vet click here , he is also one of a handful that employ a consultant veterinarian to consult on the care of all his pigs.  We follow his standards of pig husbandry and have learnt a lot.

Micro Pigs have taken 15 years to reach the small size they are now, our lines of micro pigs are exclusive to us and a handful of breeders who hold full provenance, this is so important and that is why the price is so high, it has taken many many years of work and expense before these gorgeous pigs could be sold as pet pigs, we only breed genuine breeding stock and keep a closed herd, minimising the risk of disease. 

There is no such thing as a teacup pig, they simply do not exist.  The name Micro is a name generated by media interest and they are Micro Pigs when compared to their ancestors of huge size.

We can advise you on the best pig for your environment and will not sell you a pig if we think the pig is wrong for your home, we are always open and honest.

We insist customers view our adults to be sure they are happy with our pet pigs fully grown.

Our piglets are fed a medicated feed for two weeks prior to leaving us, this is standard practice for a GOOD breeder to do, it will make sure when they leave us (just like dogs are wormed) they are healthy and happy with no worms or mange, this protects against mange, worms and other common problems including parasites, it is called ivomec premix which many breeders give in an injection form as its much cheaper and just as effective, we also use this method on occasion.  You will need to use the injection form.
