About Our Micro Pigs

We grew up on farms and have had Gloucester old spot pigs in the past, amongst other pigs, we played a large part in raising these pigs over a period of 20 years.  Micro Pigs are a new venture for us and we are learning so much about these wonderful pigs. 

We decided that we would like to increase the availability of Micro Pigs in the South East.  We choose the micro pigs as we love animals and these little piggies fascinate us.  We all have different skills and this works very well for us and our pigs.  Having grown up with big pigs we never could have dreamed that one day we would have pigs walking in and out of our home, sharing our dogs bed.

We are a family/friend team who share a love for animals and Micro Pigs. We work together as a team to provide wonderful little pet micro pigs.

Our pigs make fantastic pets and we know you will enjoy them as much as we do, contrary to what many think they do not smell if living in a clean envirnoment and they dislike being dirty they are incredibly clean animals, they do not soil in their living area, we keep our pigs as clean as possible, we keep the area covered with wood chip about a foot deep to try to prevent it getting muddy during the winter months, they also love to root through this.  They roll in mud in the summer to stop themselves getting sunburn as they do not sweat, quite clever really!! You can give them a gentle spray with your hose if they are too hot.

We are working very closely with the founder who has many many years experience in rare pig breeds, to ensure the colours stay as close to perfection as possible, the micro pigs stay small and to breed them smaller over time, we hope to have new colours available too. Remember pigs used to be much smaller, they are being bought down to nearer their original size. They were breed to be huge for meat purposes, for money purposes.

We do not sell breeding pairs ALL our Micro Pigs are sold as pets and can not be breed as they are related and any breeding can result in throw backs (large pigs) if you do not have the correct breeding genetics.

Our home is just the place for those who are animal lovers at heart! Please do not feel you can't email and ask questions about our Micro Pigs we are happy to help in anyway we can and will never make you feel silly for asking!
